UG Project :
Title : Removal of phenol from waste water using adsorption technique.
Description : The study focused on the removal of phenol from waste water by adsorption method. Effluents containing phenolic components are collected from various industrial like petrochemical, pharmaceuticals. Waste water containing phenolic compounds causes more toxic effects and pollutes natural resources like air, water, soil etc. Thus the removal of phenol from waste water becomes more important and this study carried out using adsorption method.

PG Project :
Title : Removal of heavy metal from electroplating rinse water by electrochemical process.
Description : The project focusing on the removal of heavy metals from electroplating effluent. Effluents containing copper are primarily originating from the process industries such as plating and coating, metal finishing, tanneries and textiles etc. The removal of copper from waste water becomes more important due to its toxic effects on human beings and on environment. In this study metal pollution of copper is removed by means of electrochemical ion exchange process. The result observed that 91.81% of copper was removed by the above method.
