FEDERAL BANK invites application from candidates for the post of the following Specialist Officers.
* HR HEAD :
Educational qualifications : Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management or MBA (specialization in HR)
Application fee (Rs.) : Nil
Age : Maximum 45 years as on 01.01.2010. (For members of staff, relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years)
Relaxations : Stipulation of educational qualifications & age relaxable for candidates with exceptional experience
Experience : Minimum 15 years experience in the field of Human Resources Management in any Scheduled Commercial Bank/ reputed Company. Candidates should have experience in various areas closely related to Human Resources Management such as disciplinary matters, recruitment process, performance management system, training, etc
Mode of selection :
Interview only (candidates will be called for interview at the absolute discretion of the Bank and based on the suitability, experience, profile, etc)
Position / Scale of Pay : Salary will be competitive as compared to those available in the market. Depending upon the qualification, experience and profile of the candidate, remuneration / scale of pay negotiable
* TREASURY HEAD (in Mumbai) :
Educational qualifications
Post Graduation in any discipline

Experience :
Minimum 10 years of experience in economic research as Economist/ Chief Economist in a Bank/ FI/ reputed firm. The candidate should have experience in forecasting business indicators, environmental scanning, building up of data bank, econometric models and industrial profile.

Position / Scale of Pay :

* LEGAL OFFICERS :
Educational qualifications :
Graduation / Post Graduation in Law with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.

Age : Maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2010. (For members of staff, relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years)
Experience :
Candidates should be enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council and should have minimum 5 years active practice as Advocate in civil/ criminal court OR 5 years experience as legal officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank. Experience gained during the training period before enrolment as an advocate will not be counted for eligibility. Exposure with special reference to Banking would be an added advantage.

Written test and Interview. Candidates will be called for written test / interview at the absolute discretion of the Bank and based on the suitability, experience, profile, etc
Position / Scale of Pay :
Scale I or II depending upon the experience and profile of the candidate
* HR OFFICERS :

The eligibility criteria prescribed for each post is mentioned against the respective posts. Candidates, who satisfy the eligibility criteria, are advised to apply online between the dates prescribed below (both days inclusive) using the link given below after going through the instructions also given below. No other means / mode of application will be accepted.

How to Apply :
Eligible candidates have to apply online through the Bank’s website only. No other means / mode of application are acceptable. The application format should be filled in English only. Before registering their applications on the website candidates should note the following.
• The candidates should have a valid e - mail id before applying online and the same shall remain valid for the duration of the recruitment process. In case the candidate does not have a valid e-mail id, he/ she shall create a new e - mail id before applying online.
• Log on to our Banks website www.federalbank.co.in and open the link “Career”. Then Click “Recruitment of Specialist Officers – 2010”. After going through the eligibility criteria as well as detailed guidelines, click “apply online”. Then online application will open. Fill in all the details required in the application and click “Submit” available at the bottom of the online application and your online application will be registered. A registration number (Roll Number for the post) will appear for your online registration immediately on the screen. Remember the registration number for reference. By using registration number and date of birth, candidates can take the printout and also modify the online application for change of address, addition of qualification, etc. Candidates should not send the printout of the online application to the Bank. The printout will be required to be submitted by the shortlisted candidates on receiving call letter for test/ interview.
• The system generated print out has to be pasted with recent passport size colour photograph and should be brought at the time of test/ interview. Sufficient copies of the same photograph should be retained for use at the time of test/ interview. Candidates are advised not to change their appearance till the entire recruitment process is over. Failure to produce the same photograph at the time of test/ interview may lead to disqualification.
• Valid proof of identity such as PAN card / Passport / Voter ID card / Driving licence / Permanant Identity Card issued by the present employer or any other valid proof of identification with a photograph should be produced at the time of test/ interview to be conducted by the Bank.
• Candidates should produce print out of the application form, call letter and other documents / certificates at the time of test/ interview failing which the candidate will not be admitted for test/ interview.
