Job Details :
The Package Engineer is responsible for driving timely delivery of the assigned major equipment package (s), whilst meeting all specified technical requirements.
The Package Engineer is the technical focal point for the package at all stages of the project lifecycle, working closely with discipline engineers and other colleagues in support functions such as quality, procurement, expediting, fabrication and mechanical completions.
The Package Engineer ensures all relevant interfaces are accurately addressed in order to successfully integrate the package into the overall project scope in a seamless manner, to function as intended.

Additional Information :
The Package Engineer ensures the package meets the required technical performance and client requirements. Consequently is responsible for the initial specification, evaluation and selection of the package vendor. Continues as the package focal point, for all technical matters within the project, until delivered and installed into the final position and ready for commissioning. This includes review and approval of vendor documentation and interface with the client and vendor.
Reports to the Engineering Discipline Lead, accountable for technical integrity and assurance of the package. Liaises closely with the Package Manager (Procurement) and identifies any potential issues which could have adverse schedule, delivery or commercial impacts.
Visits Vendor’s works on a regular basis to ensure engineering matters are resolved in a timely and effective manner, and production activities maintained on schedule. Attends FAT to ensure testing is carried out in accordance with approved procedures and that performance is in line with acceptable criteria.

Topic :- Conservation of Drain Water:
- The conservation of drain water implies for preserving and utilizing water in a proper manner.
- In this method when the water from AHU and FCU is collected in a collecting tray by the process of sweating of chill water line.
- The collected water is transferred to return chill water line through the insulated line.
- Water is conserved by this method.
- When the water is added to the chiller to the direct method it would be around 30oc but when the water from conservation tank is added by above method it would be around 2oc to 5oc chilled, hence by this method the working load of chiller would be decrease, efficiency would be increase.
- The waste water which is coming out from AHU and FCU is till now was directly drain.
- So we improve the technique by reticulating in our project to conserve water and to save energy by decreasing the chill water load.
