Xavier’s College, Tirunelveli and a PGDBA from Annamalai University -in his Sixties as on date.
- Started his career with the Tamil Nadu State Agricultural Engineering Services by Maintaining Agricultural Machineries and then switched over to Private Sector

Susira Group in the areas of Design & Manufacture of Tractor Trailers,
Manufacture of Two Wheeler Engine & Vehicle Components, Development &
Manufacture of I C Engine Components respectively.
- Traveled his own Journey on Entrepreneurship by venturing into a Pvt Ltd Auto Components Processing Unit under the style of December Tools P Ltd @ Chennai –96 in 1990 along with a few Friends. Even though he was the Promoter Director and the Prime Technical Function Head of that SSI Unit the brutal rule of Majority Holding worked against him- in-spite of his hard works and foundational / long term services done to his own BABY.

He quit that Partnership and continued his Journey as an Engineering /
Management Consultant by taking up assignments and projects on Engineering and Management Consultancy under the style of ‘SUBRAS 3D ‘.

He is serving the New Entrepreneurs financed by- Bharatiya Yuva Sakthi Trust -BYST c/o CII as a Mentor for the last 10 years.
He has served as a Sub- Committee Member for the BIS for consideration of Indian Standards for Agricultural Trailers during 1976.

At present he is serving the Indian Plant Engineering & Management Community by virtue of being the Founder Chairman of Centre for Engineering Solutions [CES] ,a Consortium of Consultants under Indian Institution of Plant Engineers- IIPE. Has earlier served as the Editor of PEJ, the Journal Division of IIPE. His recent achievement under his core field of Design and Manufacture had been the Design & Manufacture of a novel Rotary Press for Manufacture of Pharmaceutical tablets which is being well received by Indian Companies & MNCs.
On the Knowledge / Training side, he has Designed & / further Developing new Methodology for’ Design for Manufacturability – DFM for Indian CAD Engineers. He was part of the Faculties for the Staff Development Programme – sponsored by AICTE
@ Amrita University, Coimbatore recently. His ‘DFM for CAD Engineers’ is also part of the Course Materials released under the AICTE on ‘ Design For Manufacturability and Assembly – DFMA ‘ .

In the International Forum on ‘Engineering Design, in.2007 at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore he has made a presentation on the need for including DFM as part of the curriculum for the Masters in Engineering Design in India titled ‘’ DFM for Indian CAD Engineers’’ recently .
He has done a one-day workshop on ‘DFM Initiation’ for working

professionals :
COINDIA in Coimbatore during 2008. He has also given an External- Lecture for MBA Students of Anna University on ‘Entrepreneurship & Intrepreneurship ‘.
Current Projects being undertaken are on Practice Teaching like ‘ SUBRAS ‘
DFM ‘, a Manual on’ DFM for Indian CAD Engineers’ & ‘ Design & Prototyping of ‘ SUBRAS Janatha Wheeler ‘light duty Three Wheeler for the Indian market and also as part of the Implementation Project for proving the versatility of ‘ SUBRAS ‘ DFM ‘.

He has successfully done the first model and now developing the second model applying Value Engineering and modifying it into a Hybrid Vehicle with support of state of the Art CAD Techniques.

He has toured USA and was able to make Professional Associations with Dr Anderson of www.design4manufcaturability.com of USA & Mr. Will Austin of Institute of Affordable Transportation, Indianapolis, USA.

He has served as a member of the Jury for DFM aspects in an Inter University Design-cum-Prototyping Competition in USA during April -08.
In short he is a blend of Design & Manufacturing Engineering of Automotive
/Engineering Components/ Equipments through the conventional route with added skills in Innovations & Mentoring.
