Students Partnership Worldwide (SPW) demonstrates and promotes a youth-led approach to development, implementing internationally recognised programmes across sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. SPW has doubled in size over the past three years and is on course to continue its pace of expansion in line with the SPW Global Strategic Framework.

SPW is planning the expansion of its work in South Asia, both in the strategic scale up of its present South Asian programmes in Nepal and South India as well as in the opening of new country programmes in the region. SPW is looking for an ambitious Regional Director with experience in the support and supervision of senior programme staff related work, as well as a passion for SPWâs mission to place young people at the forefront of change and development.

Job Description
The Regional Director for South Asia (RDSA) is a member of SPWs Senior
Management Team. The RDSAâs main duties are:
-- Supervision and support of Country Directors (CDs)
-- Overseeing Programme, M&E and Operational Standards in South Asia
-- Partnership Development and Resource Mobilisation
-- Organisational Strategy and Planning
-- Crisis Management and Risk Minimisation

Desired Candidate Profile
Skills &Qualifications (Essential)
-- Masters/ Qualification in relevant areas of this JD
-- Honours Degree
-- At least five years experience working in relevant similar development-fields
-- At least four years experience in supervising/ managing senior staff
-- Knowledge of all (up to date) technical areas of key duties described
-- Experience working in youth development and/or Third Sector/ NGOs
-- Experience in distance management and working with multiple offices
-- Experience in training delivery and provision of capacity building support
