Transmission of power between two parallel shafts is normally accomplished by employing belt & pulley arrangement. The belts are used to transmit power from one shaft to another by means of pulleys which rotate at same speed or different speeds.

2 Economical because it an replacement to a costly gearbox.

Academic Project :
We had taken a project (IDP) from GNFC.LTD. It was a breakage of an exhauster shaft due to vibration which is further due to the deposition of heavy moisture contained raw coal in an exhauster in a boiler plant. Here our solution was not allowed to raise the temperature of coal in bowl mill which may cause fire in the mill, and mill is already working under a temperature of 70°C, and above 90°C temperature it leads to a fire. So our team made a dehumidifier working

On the principle of cooling and dehumidification which takes moisture from coal without increasing its temperature and condenses it on an evaporator

- If there any casting defect in the trial, inform about it relevant department in charge.
- Taking all dimension of trials by engineering instruments as per drawing.
