Description :
This project, initially deals with the various types of polymers in use, their properties and the processing methods of thermoplastic materials (mainly in Injection molding process).And after that, it deals with the simulation of Injection Molding Process using Moldflow Plastics Insight (MPI), by which the in-depth Injection molding simulation will be done to validate part and mold design.

Original equipment supplier to Automobile and Telecommunication industry for a range of plastic molded, sheet metal and formed wire components such as Door Handle Assemblies, Grip Assistant, regulator Handles, knobs, clips, Clamps, Nuts etc. Precision Tech Enterprises was founded in February, 1986. Being quality conscious, products were highly appreciated by the customers like Maruti Udyog Limited, Gurgaon; Nissan Motor Company, Japan; etc. The company has state of art molding shop with microprocessor controlled injection molding machines. Centralised Desiccant type dryers are used for material drying. All machines are equipped with hopper dryers. Cooling towers are installed to maintain circulating water temperature flowing through machines and moulds. Production planning & control and dispatches are computerized. Tool Room is equipped with CNC WIRE CUT, DRO FITTED EDM, MILLING & LATHE machines for precision mouldes and Dies manufacturing.
Work Description :
- Simulation of the designed part using materials with or without fillers and fiber reinforcements.
- Analysis of the filling, packing and cooling phases and designing of the cooling circuits.
- Prediction of post-molding phenomena such as part warpage, air traps, weld lines and flow marks etc.
- Redesign of the part by changing in part geometry or material selection or mold design or processing conditions etc.
