Legal :

Direct and Indirect Taxation :

Offer Document for the proposed IPO is also being finalised in consultation with the Merchant Banker.Tie-ups for other related matters is also being taken up.
I have also acquired two listed companies under the SEBI’s take over regulations having paid up capital of Rs.11 and 14 crores respectively.These companies were listed at Delhi and Mumbai Stock Exchanges at the time of take over.
Accounting, Budgetary Controls & MIS Preparing and monitoring of accounting controls and timely compliance as per Stock Exchange and ROC deadlines. Finalisation of Balance Sheet as per Accounting Standards.Developed a Standard Accounting Procedure and Standard Auding Procedure which is running successfully across all the Companies of the Advance Group.
Statutory /Regulatory Compliances :Preparing tax plans and ensuring timely filing and assessment of Income Tax cases & Sales Tax cases including TDS, Service Tax returns in compliance with statutory tax acts.
Appearing before tax authorities for handling tax assessment hearings and resolving tax matters.
Liaising with various regulatory authorities like RBI, ROC & Stock Exchanges for obtaining necessary sanctions / approvals & ensuring compliances
Management/Internal Audit :
Developed Standard Auditing Procedure for the Group and ensured the regular Internal Audit of the Group Companies across all the locations in India.
Special Achievements :
- In Indiana Group of Companies, the Three Star Hotel of the Group was running into continuous losses for the last several years before my joining.I personally visited the Hotel after joining and investigated the affairs and detected substatial pilferages,thefts and abnormal leakages of the Hotel’s resources resulting into the losses.After I submitted my Report to the CMD, two key persons of the Hotel were sacked and thereafter the hotel always remained in profits. I also managed this Hotel for two short durations of 2 months each when the General Manager of the Hotel was on long leave for his Haz piligrimage for two consecutive years.
- Crisis Management in the current organisation- Managed a Central Excise Raid across all the Factories of the Company in 1998. All the records seized by the Preventive, had to be released by the Department due to constant pressure for either taking any action or releasing the Records.
- Prevented an Income Tax Raid to happen in the Advance Group by pro-active actions by taking preventive measures.
- Take Over of a running Granite Mining and Processing Company at Chennai at a very short notice within a record period of 1 month for Indiana Group of Companies.
- Managed the Central Sales Tax and Local Sales Tax Registration for a Company in Chennai in a single day as there was urgent requirement for the same for Indiana Group of Companies.
- Saving in interest cost—detected excess interest charged by the Banks during the process of Internal Audit.in Advance Group
- Identifying areas for cost control and cost reduction

I am a qualified Chartered Accountant & a Cost Accountant having around 17 years experience.My age is around 45 years. I have worked in private companies in India & abroad for about 5 years and then started my own firm in Audit, Taxation and finance. I am now looking for a change into service again preferably in Government jobs. Will I be eligible for one?
