The concrete objective of the project is the development of the high quality Estonian Text-To- Speech synthesizer for blind people, which provides them easy access to the services and information available in IT environment. Speech synthesizer converts the textual information on computer screen audible and supports communication with a computer. The project directly contributes to the social reintegration and promotes socio-economic support for members of the blind community.
