- Worked as Senior Research Fellow :from September, 08 to September, 09 in the project entitled “ An exploratory analysis of genetic correlates And Effects of yoga On Circadian rhythms, cognitive functions and social burden In Major mental disorders: Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression And Their comparison with a cardiac group” at Department of psychiatry Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi.

EXPERIENCE :
Worked as a full time trainee Clinical Psychologist with the out patients and inpatients of psychiatric disorder, drug addiction, neurological disorder and medical problems under supervision of psychiatrist consultant, clinical psychologist consultant and neurologist, attended various specialty clinics like Child Guidance Clinic, Mental Retardation Clinic, De-Addiction treatment and rehabilitation Clinic, Child Development Clinic, actively involved in psychological assessments and intervention under supervision of senior clinical psychologist, presented case conference, seminar and journal club in departmental academic sessions conducted biweekly as a part of M.Phil.
M.Phil. dissertation on “Mental Health among Software Engineers”.

CLINICAL SKILLS :
- Diagnose and evaluate mental and emotional disorders by using detailed psychiatric case work up approach.
- Assessment of clients' needs, abilities or behaviour using a variety of methods, including clinical interviews, behaviour analysis, I.Q assessments, Psycho Diagnostic assessment, Neuropsychological assessment and Specific learning disability assessment.
- Formulate and Plan for psychological intervention and psycho-social rehabilitation of by using different theoretical approaches/model to treat various mental health problems of children, adolescents and adults.
- Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions based upon cognitive behavioural therapy orientation, supportive psychotherapy, family therapy, crisis intervention, neuropsychological rehabilitation and behaviour modification.

- Article published on “Role of Yoga in Major Mental Illnesses”
- Translated a book in Hindi on “Tobacco Cessation”.
- Written a manual on “Yoga practices for mentally ill patients” with collaboration of yoga experts, this is in pipeline.

- 2nd Prize winner in singing competition at university level.
