Responsible for the Basic Engineering, Procurement of Long lead items, Tender and SOW for the EPC contract, Technical evaluation of EPC contracts, Review of Detail Engineering (By the EPC contractor), Site Construction Management, Precommissioning, Commissioning, Start up and Handover with all necessary documentation and test packs and Project close out report highlighting learning points.
Responsible for HSE management.
In charge of the Pipelines department, Involved in all aspects right from Prebid enquiry stage to proposal for the new tenders, engineering work of PMC contracts to construction and handover of the project. Also, involved in all aspects related to pipeline management.

June 1995 – End 2004 : Petroleum Development Oman (SHELL Operated Co), Sultanate of Oman.
- Joined as Senior Pipeline (Project) Engineer for various onshore pipeline projects, and later (after 11/2 years) taken up the position as CSR (Company site representative) for various pipeline/flowline and other construction facilities.
- Reporting to Section head pipelines during Project engineer post and then Head Construction (Asset Team) during CSR.
During project Engineering work, involved in Conceptual studies, FEED, design reviews (Route selection, Design calculations-Pipe wall thickness, Buoyancy, Road and Wadi crossings, Expansion, Stability, External and Internal corrosion, On plot piping work, Block Valve stations etc) HAZOP participation, Material selection, Vendor qualification, technical evaluation of bids for bulk items etc.
- Develop Project Implementation strategy. Manage all technical aspects of construction contractor/consultant designs for assigned projects, ensuring compliance in application of appropriate engineering standards codes of practice and specifications in conjunction with the discipline team.
Preparation of Construction SOW for different type of the design and construction packages to describe contractual terms and condition for the contractor and the activities to be performed by the construction contractors.
- Upon completion of the project, prepare project close out report, lessons learned and recommendations for the management review, Challenge the specification and add valid input to the existing specification.
Assist in the development of HSE plans covering all phases of assigned projects, Effective Coordination with design consultants, contractors and inter discipline team.
- Participate in the preparation of Commissioning procedures by contractors/consultants/vendors.
Well conversant with Shell DEP and PDO ERD standards.
Good experience in construction/execution of pipelines and facilities.

As CSR (Company Site Representative) :
- Directly Manage the Contractors executing Pipeline/Facilities projects in the field. Ensure that the work is executed in line with Project Specifications (Technical and Quality) and in full compliance with HSE requirements.
- Develop and Maintain effective working relations with Contractor teams, Asset team coast and interior team, Rigs/well services as well as Site SPI’s and supervisors.
- Ensure the construction work progress as per the master plan and work proactive, report appropriately for timely action by the concerned team.
Review Pre/Commissioning plans, procedures, involve in the commissioning work and handover.
- Completions of the project with Construction close out reports.
- Ensure that the project cost is maintained, involve in resolving the issues related to the extra claims by the contractor.

Act as Project Engineer: (Leave relief).
Manage HSE plan as per approved HSE plans and PDO specifications.
Also, has experience in pipeline operations/maintenance and integrity aspects.
