Resume CV : FEA Analyst / FEA Design Engineer
Objective :
I want to become an expert Design Engineer and FEA Analyst.
About Myself :
- I was born on 25th of Feb. in 1986.
- Up to 4th standard I studied in DIU.
- From 5th to 12th I studied at Saurashtra High School – Rajkot.
- After 12th I got admission in Mechanical Branch at V.V.P. Engg. College – Rajkot.
- I am doing my M.E. MECHANICAL (CAD/CAM) from L.D. College of Engineering – Ahmedabad, I had immediately joined this course after completing my B.E. Mechanical.
- I believe in constant improvement in performance in any field of my life.
- I believe that problems are our builders and increase our endurance limit.
- Up till now I do not have any work experience except my projects.
- Right now I know basic modeling in PRO-E, Structural analysis in ANSYS workbench, and also learning ANSYS Classic for simulation, but I am also ready to work with other softwares also because they are just tool for modeling & simulation and all have different qualities.
- I had done my Dissertation Project at TecSo Technology & Solutions – Vadodara.

Project During B.E. :
Heat Exchanger :It is one type of stand developed by me and my three other project partners that can be mounted around gas burner, our aim was to reduce the loss of heat from the surrounding space of burner when any bowl is kept on it. It was useful to save heat loss from bottom up to some extent only. One advantage we get from that was food can be kept hotter for longer period of time than normal.
M.E. Project Detail :
(1) Project Title :
“WEIGHT OPTIMIZATION OF STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS OF MINE BLAST DRILLING
MACHINE”.
(2) Blast Drilling Machine is used to drill holes for getting Oil, Water and for Drilling Blast
holes for Mining. In Mining operations first drilling is done in the area where we want
to fragment rock. After drilling hole explosive material is loaded into the hole as per
requirement.
(3) I had done weight optimization of three major parts,
- Main Frame
- Mast
- Undercarriage
(4) FEA is done for all three components for different loading conditions, for that 3-D
models of each parts are meshed (Meshing is done in ANSYS Workbench) than loads
are applied to on meshed parts as per given conditions.
(5) FEA results are ready now by using them we can find out the areas from which
material can be removed to reduce weight of parts. But keeping in mind that
reduction in components should be as per standard. This is called weight optimization.
Weight Optimization is done by adding or removing stiffness.
(6) After this checking should be done that stress values are in the bearing limit of
material or not. If yes than again trial is made to see whether again reduction is
possible or not, If not than it proves that previous reduction was wrong.
(7) Calculation of manufacturing cost of
- Before Weight Optimization,
- After Weight Optimization,
- Comparison of Both of above.
