1. Presently Working with – “NORTH CHEVRON PILOT PROJECT” Oil Gas Onshore Field as welding inspector
WORKS DESCRIPTIONS :
Conduct welder qualification test based on wps
- Prepare the wqt & identification card for qualified welders
- Preparing fit-up welding report
- Conduct field inspection like fit-up welding valve installation orifice flange purging for ss & INCONNEL 800 as per ITP
- Verify the use of preheating equipment as specified & use of approved welding procedure specification
- Visual examination of root passes penetration undercut cracks slag & porosity
- Check completed joints for excessive reinforcement & other irregularities
- Ensure that welders use assigned identification stamp
- Before fit up all spools should be cleaned 100% witnessed by client.
- Inspecting the incoming materials for damages dimensions & corrosions.
- Ensure the MTC is available & & according to the requirements.
- Proper protection of pipes & fittings. Verify sizes and schedule of pipes, rating of flanges, proper flange face and fittings.
- Prepare qc documents for package movements.
- Preparation the RFI & proceed with 100% witnessed by client.
- Inspection of cold shoe with client supervisor prior to RFI.
- Coordination with NDE group to clear RT backlog.
- Coordination of QA/QC activities at field with subsystems scopes.
- Reading the full scope of subsystems with their corresponding P&ID & ISOMETRIC drawings.
- Receiving & giving both e-copies & hard copies to the client.
- Review the subsystems as per the new rev on PDN on that subsystem.
- Getting RFP for the each subsystem for closing subsystems.
- Preparing the new subsystems books as per client & PDN requested.
- Daily updating the master punch list after meeting.
