Job Description
- To verify the Planned work raised by internally from Engineering,RLO, Provisioning or externally from Suppliers, Vendors and Customers.
- To identify list of impacted services by using Clarity,Cramer,NMS and other DWDM OSS.
- Coordinate with the submarine cable landing station and repair ship for the submarine cable fault or shunt fault repair.
- To generate monthly Report of Planned Work activities carried out in network related to systems & traffic and to prepare presentations for the performance of hight priorites circuits.
- To send the notifications during planned maintenances and Major traffic Failures to internal & external carriers.
- To get approvals from different department for Service Affecting Planned Works and to arrange the Planned Work reviews or concall with requestor,Field Support and executor for high risk level Planned Works.
- Coordinate with RLO and CLS to provide the restoration to the services during the major faults and major planned works in network and get it normalize from GNOC.
- To co-ordinate with suppliers and customers regarding the Planned works and circuit performance queries and managing conference calls and meetings with suppliers.
- Experience on the Transmission networks and associated equipments like SDH, DWDM.
