ACADEMIC PROJECT HANDLED :

Description :
The objective of this project was to design a Stirling Engine (proto type) which is turning out to be one of the most prominent non-conventional energy sources which can be widely used for power generation and many other applications. A Stirling engine is a device that converts heat energy into mechanical power by alternately compressing and expanding a fixed quantity of air or other gas (the working fluid) at different temperatures.
The key principle of a Stirling engine is that a fixed amount of a gas is sealed inside the engine.The Stirling cycle involves a series of events that change the pressure of the gas inside the engine, causing it to do work.
