COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
NTPC Ltd. offers one of the best pay packages in the industry. Selected
candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 24900-50500 at the basic
pay of Rs. 24900/- during one-year training. These candidates will be
absorbed after successful completion of training as Engineer / Officer at a
basic pay of Rs. 25650/-.

EETs: Upper Age limit is 27 years

SELECTION PROCESS:
Eligible candidates will have to undergo a Selection Test. Result of successful candidates for interview will be made available at www.ntpccareers.net and will be emailed to such candidates. All short listed candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview before the Company's Central Selection Board. Result of candidates will be made available online.

HOW TO APPLY:
01) Eligible candidates have to apply through online registration system of
NTPC only. To apply visit: www.ntpccareers.net with your valid E-mail
ID. The site is functional from 1300 hours of 02.03.2010 to midnight of
22.03.2010.
02) Candidates belonging to General/OBC category are required to pay a
non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 500/-. The SC / ST / PWD category
candidates need not pay the registration fee.
03) State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee,
in a specially opened account No. 30987919993 at CAG branch, New
Delhi, on behalf of NTPC. Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI
branch with a printout of the "pay-in-slip" which is available on the
application registration portal. The pay-in-slip printed from the portal
should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount
in the allocated account. On receipt of the money the bank will issue a
unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the
money. This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by
the candidate during online registration. In case the candidate deposits
the fee in a wrong account, NTPC will not be responsible. There will not
be any other mode of money collection.
04) After applying online, candidate is required to download the registration
slip generated by the system with unique registration number.
05 The candidate should send duly signed printout of registration slip after
affixing the colour photograph, attaching Caste / PH certificate (if
applicable) and photocopy of the pay-in-slip in an envelop. Candidate
can keep a copy of registration slip and pay-in-slip for his future
reference.
06) The candidate should write "ET-2010" & registration number on the top
of the envelope and should send the envelop by ordinary post to:

07) Please note that the registration slip should reach NTPC on or before
31.03.2010.

b. Last date for online registration of application by candidates 22.03.2010 (Monday) Midnight
c. Last date of accepting registration forms with required documents by 31.03.2010 post from candidates (Wednesday) 1700 Hours
e. Downloading of Admit card with Number, test center name and Guidelines from the net. 20.04.2010, 1000 Hours To 02.05.2010, 0900 Hours
f. All India Written Test 02.05.2010 (Sunday)
