Main Duties :
Making telephone calls to both existing and prospective clients and retain them
To take calls concerning difficult customers/complaints in a polite and professional manner.
To prepare and dispatch information packs to potential new and existing members.
Attend Team Meetings and new business briefings and contribute positive suggestions.
To ensure legal compliance with all aspects of the Company’s business
To demonstrate an all round knowledge of the Company’s products
To ensure all administration tasks are completed within a satisfactory time
To ensure the timely communication of information to colleagues and line management
To develop and maintain relationships with financial advisers and external organisations

Development of race car matching the specifications of a typical student competition car :
A RACE CAR was developed as our group project. The main objective of this project was to design a race car recommended by the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) specifications. This was achieved by starting from the scratch of the design of the vehicle to the final running model.

2 : Brief Overview of Individual Project:
Design and Simulation of the Powertrain for a Through-The-Road Parallel Hybrid SUV :
In this project a SUV in the present market which is the tata safari is considered and is converted to a Through-The-Road Parallel Hybrid vehicle. The required parameters for the design of the powertrain are calculated. The final powertrain of the vehicle is designed in SIMULINK and the system is tested for different test cases.
3 : Assignment Project Details:
3.1 : DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF POWER TRAIN FOR AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE:
The electric power train design for a six seater car was assigned as the project. The power train components include motor, battery and transmission. Aerodynamic resistance and rolling resistance must be considered for the design. The designed power train was to be checked for maximum velocity, acceleration and gradient performance. The designed vehicle was simulated using MATLAB/SIMULINK and its performance was checked under different drive conditions such as acceleration, constant speed drive and braking.
3.2 DESIGN OF A GEAR BOX FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE AND FOR FUEL ECONOMY :
Here in this project two different gear boxes were designed for good power output and the other for greater mileage of the vehicle. The torque and speed characteristic of the vehicle is inversely proportional to each other. Initially the torque is very high for pickup of the vehicle. As the speed of the vehicle increases the torque reduces giving a good power output. The gear boxes were designed for a considered conventional vehicle. Considering the technical specification of the vehicle the gear box was designed for the above two conditions. By considering the acceleration performance and tractive effort of the vehicle the gear box was designed calculating the gear ratios for the gear box of the vehicle.
