    Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the post of Administrative Officer (Scale I) in specialized discipline of Information Technology (Hardware, Software and networking), Accounts, Law and generalist.

    MCA (Masters in Computer Applications)/MIT (Masters in Information Technology) or BE Computer/MCM (Master in Computer Management)

    B.Com with minimum 60% marks in graduation or 55% in M.Com for general candidates from recognized University.

    Group C
    Code No. 03
    Bachelor of Law (three year course) with minimum three years experience
    as a practicing lawyer (with two years experience for SC/ST candidates)

    Graduation with minimum 60% marks or 55% in Masters for general
    candidates from recognized University.

    Selection Procedure:
    Candidates will be called for written examination to be held on 09.05.2010 which would comprise of the following:

    1. Applications should be Hand Written / neatly typed in CAPITAL LETTERS in the prescribed format only. Applications submitted in any other format
    will not be accepted and summarily rejected.
    2. The left hand upper corner of the envelope should be superscribed “OIC – AO (indicate the Group in which you will compete).”
    3. Attach :
    (i) Crossed Bank Draft for Rs.500/- payable at Delhi purchased from any Nationalized or Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of “THE ORIENTAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED” (Crossed Bank Draft for Rs. 50/- is required for SC/ST candidates applying for the post and no examination fee is
    required for confirmed employees of The Oriental Insurance Co Ltd). Candidates should write his/her name and address, Group and Code No. on the reverse of the Demand Draft.
    Application containing Postal Order / Money Order will not be accepted.
    (ii) Self addressed envelope of 23 cms. X 12 cms. i.e. 9.5” x 5” size with Rs.5/- postage stamp affixed. Self address on the envelope should be
    written or typed in capital letters.

    - Preparing quarterly Financial Management Reports (FMRs) and ensure their timely submission to NPIU.
    - Ensuring the timely preparation and submission of monthly / quarterly claims for reimbursement to NPIU
    - Co-ordinating submission of annual audit report form state to NPIU and timely compliance of audit observations. If a system of internal audit exists the finance officer should ensure adequate coverage, scope and timely and satisfactory response to observations by internal auditors.
    - Reviewing and monitoring financial management arrangements for the project at ITIs
    - Ensuring Maintaince of project procurement under NCB and prepare procurement procedures, procurement strategy including civil works.

    - Sanctioning Authority for approving the cases of Trucks and other commercial vehicles.
