    o Field Engineering Services for 7 years, comprising of Bubbling Fluidized-bed Combustion Boilers for over 5 years and Heat Recovery Steam Generators for over 2 years.
    o Boiler R& D for 3.5 years in conducting tests & establishing design parameters in 10T/H fbc boiler & shell- type fbc boiler for sub-licensing .

    o Savings raw material cost (w.r.t. detailed engineering) of BFBC boilers by change in material size (approx Rs.2.5 lakhs for a typical 100T/H BFBC boiler).
    o Attaining cycle time reduction in super-heater tube failures in HRSG of M/s IPCL, Gandhinagar without dismantling modules- In-situ repair for the first time in world.
    o Implementing various suggestions also along the team to reduce the non-moving inventory.
    - Successfully implemented outsourcing of execution of detailed engineering AutoCAD drawings for the first time inside BHEL campus using infrastructure facilities at very competitive rates, leading to cycle time reduction & maintenance of security of spares-detailed engineering documents for industrial & utility boilers (pulverized fuel fired, BFBC & CFBC) of 30 MW to 500 MW capacity.
    - Introduced indexing of all spares-archives detailed engineering drawings, leading to scanning of those drawings, automatic distribution of drawing prints to concerned sections. This resulted in cycle time reduction with respect to detailed engineering & production, for industrial & utility boilers (pulverized fuel fired, BFBC & CFBC) of 30 MW to 500 MW capacity.
    - Computerized details of IBR approval for detailed Engineered pressure- part drawings, leading to cycle time reduction for material withdrawal for manufacture of pressure parts of industrial & utility boilers (pulverized fuel fired, BFBC & CFBC) of 30 MW to 500 MW capacity.
    - Simplified the data book preparation of detailed engineered pressure-part drawings of pressure parts of industrial & utility boilers (pulverized fuel fired, BFBC & CFBC) of 30 MW to 500 MW capacity, leading to cycle time reduction & higher potential for spares business.
    - Avoided solution annealing of Re-Heater coils for stainless steel materials for utility boilers (pulverized fuel fired) 100 MW to 500 MW capacity, through suitable design/engineering modifications, leading to cost savings & cycle time reduction for manufacture.
    - Successfully upgraded materials viz., T22 instead of T11 and T91 instead of T22, for spares of Re-Heater coils for utility boilers (pulverized fuel fired) of 100 MW to 500 MW capacity, leading to enhanced life & business potential.
    - Standardized dissimilar metal weld joints for Re-Heater & Super-Heater for utility boilers (pulverized fuel fired) of 100 MW to 500 MW capacity, meeting customer's urgent critical requirements and avoiding additional weld joint.
    - Took study leave for full time PG Course 'Design & Production of Thermal Power Equipment' at NIT , Trichy-14.
    - Executed detailed engineering of spares for pressure parts for :
    o Boiler mountings, valves, soot blowers, HP- LP by-pass components, regarding fossil boilers (from industrial boilers to 500 MW), BFBC boilers & CFBC boilers (30 MW to 125 MW).
    o Non-pressure parts, C&I, regarding fossil boilers (from industrial boilers to 500 mw), BFBC Boilers & CFBC boilers (30 MW to 125 MW).

    Design & Detailed Engineering :
    - Review of enquiries from customer & working out bill of materials for estimation for giving offer to customer by subordinate engineers
    - Review of Generation of materials forecast for long lead delivery items, manufacturing drawings, strength calculations for submission to Director of Boilers by subordinate engineers
    - Review of Engineering document release plan for manufacture, erection, outsourcing etc to take care of materials availability, erectability, transportation feasibility, utilization of non-moving materials in stores/shipping ,by subordinate engineers
    - Review of material requisition s for purchase of bought-out components, recommendations to purchase dept for the offers received regarding scope of supply , technical requirements , special conditions of contract. by subordinate engineers
    - Reviewing division of responsibility and technical feasibility for project execution and detailed engineering by subordinate engineers.
    - Review of Compiling all O&M installation manuals, quality documentation manual, installation and commissioning checks and report and as built drawings by subordinate engineers..
    - Review of developing the process flow details with all respective suppliers and overseeing all variations/alterations to main scope of work by subordinate engineers.

    Process Enhancement :
    - Identifying scope for :
    o Planning, implementing & monitoring of technological changes to enhance productivity.
    o Modifications in equipments, process flow, working practices, consumables, power etc for controlling & reducing conversion cost per unit produced.
    - Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.
    - Implementing effective techniques to bring efficiency in plant operations to improve quality standards & achieve maximum cost savings.

    Materials Management :
    - Finding out suitable vendor for all BOP equipments. Reviewing vendor credentials for approving as prospective supplier as per companies set parameters.
    - Coordinating with third party inspection agency and coordinating all inspection reports.
    - Interacting with erection contractor and vendors for various projects and warranted issue.
    - Preparing the bill of material and maintaining the documents of all site drawings for the allocated projects.
    - Reconciling the material at site for the under going projects.

    Productivity Improvement/utilization of non-moving materials/components :
    - Identifying & implementing productivity improvement/utilization of non-moving materials/components by subordinate engineers.
