    Job Description

    Key Role :

    To manage and support products both in terms of technology and solutions. Assist sales team by providing product information and functional knowledge to aid in the sales process

    Responsibilities :

    * Accountable for managing and supporting products that are implemented for the business
    * Single point-of-contact for product related queries / issues and resolution
    * Responsible for taking the lead on sales situations involving complex demonstrations / proofs of concept
    * Responsible for preparing, attending and conducting product demonstrations (remote and live), using latest technology and best practices
    * Responsible for assisting sales team with preparing proposals, RFPs and creating proof of concept systems as needed
    * Serve as a functional and technical resource to other members of the sales team, including providing up-to-date competitive and industry knowledge
    * Responsible to analyze client IT architecture, system design, and training needs and will participate in or lead technical discussions with IT and business contacts
    * Responsible to produce tools, reference or training materials for others within the organization
    * Responsible for conducting and attending internal training sessions
    * Responsible to participate in a collaborative team environment with significant exposure to sales, professional services, and product development
    * Responsible to make recommendations, give direction to others, and performs work fairly & independently or with minimal supervision
    * Responsible for acting as an interface for communications between Principals (product vendors) and business
    * Responsible for ensuring product mgmt. effectiveness and product mgmt. professionalism

    * Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT domain as product support
    * Professional product mgmt experience, technical certifications on latest technologies & products preferred

    * Experience in managing products and services globally

    * Must have superior and strong technical and product knowledge with substantial orientation on sales process

    * Strong software applications / ERP knowledge (Microsoft, Solaris, Linux, SAP, POS, Payment Gateway and other retail applications)
    * Must be proficient with standard development languages and tools such as TP.net : VB. net, C #.net, XML, VB Script, ASP.net, TP Linux: Shell script, JSP, Java, XML ;technology:J2EE
    * Must possess a strong understanding of network and database architectures, security practices, and data acquisition / transformation experience
