COMMISSIONING ENGINEER PIPING, INSTRUMENTATION : QATAR

We are looking for Indian Candidates currently available in India for immediate mobilization for the position of Commissioning Engineers for Qatar on a Contract Duration of 3 to 6 months.
The Job Description and other details are as follows:

1) COMMISSIONING ENGINEER (MECHANICAL):

Qualification : Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience : Minimum 12 years in oil & gas industries. Should be able to independently plan & execute the Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning of process equipments of new & existing plants including commissioning of various types of related equipments (vessels, columns, exchangers & pumps) as per P& ID’s and GA Drawings. Knowledge of OPERCOM Methodology & using ICAPS Software/ System to complete commissioning is essential. Should have experience in preparation of detailed sub-system drawings and schedules. Should be fully conversant with Industry Codes & Practices and Quality Control procedures.


2) COMMISSIONING ENGINEER (PIPING):

Qualification : Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience : Minimum 12 years in oil & gas industries. Should be able to independently plan & execute the Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning of process pipe work of new & existing plants including hydrotesting, leak testing of piping (CS / AS / SS / GRE, etc.) as per P& ID’s and GA Drawings. Knowledge of OPERCOM Methodology & using ICAPS Software/ System to complete commissioning is essential. Should have experience in preparation of detailed sub-system drawings, as-built drawings and schedules. Should be fully conversant with Industry Codes & Practices and Quality Control procedures.


3) COMMISSIONING ENGINEER (INSTRUMENTATION):

Qualification : Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent

Experience : Minimum 12 years preferably at least 5 years in the Gulf. Should have experience of independently carrying out the instrumentation Pre-commissioning & Commissioning works involving Calibration, Function Testing, Loop Testing & Commissioning of process control instrumentation for oil and gas industries plants, power plants, petrochemical plants etc. Experience in SCADA, DCS, PLS, ESD and F&G Systems and Field Configuration will be preferred. Knowledge of OPERCOM Methodology & using ICAPS Software/ System to complete commissioning is essential. Exposure to Honeywell PCS will be advantageous. Should be able to plan and execute the work of the areas assigned to them and control Foremen and Supervisors with their crew reporting to them. Should be fully conversant with process control instrumentation Design aspects and shall be familiar with Instrumentation Standards such as API, BS, BP, Shell etc.


4) COMMISSIONING ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL):

Qualification : Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience : Minimum 12 years experience in a construction/contracting company in oil & gas industries. Works involving electro-mechanical testing and commissioning of indoor/outdoor EHV/HV Substation equipments, Installations in classified/hazardous areas. Knowledge of OPERCOM Methodology & using ICAPS Software/ System to complete commissioning is essential. Should have experience in preparation of detailed sub-system drawings and schedules. Knowledge of codes and regulations. Project Management, planning/progress monitoring, cost control, material/manpower management.

Official language : English is Official language. Should be able to speak thoroughly and write in English

Physical Efforts : 60% walking, standing and driving.

Work Environment : 40% in the office. 80% non-air conditioned plant environment exposed to prevailing weather conditions of heat, humidity, grease, dirt, noise and fumes.

Safety : Safety Training and complete awareness of safety requirement in oil and gas industry.

Computer Literacy : Shall be skilled to use PC and to be working on MS Office (Word, Excel etc.).
