Sustainable livelihood improvement :
*Successfully managed a Fodder seed Development farm of Govt. of Orissa in Kalahandi district. It has produced fodder seeds, which was provided to farmers to grow fodder for their livestock. This has resulted to good income for the farmers.
*Coordinated the small livestock provisioning, health care and passing on the gift system among 6000 beneficiaries of SHGs.
*Supervised the Community Nursery, Social forestry plantation, in the tribal and coastal Orissa through SHGs.
*Managed successfully a professional team and initiated the scientific teak plantations of around 200 ac. in South Orissa.
*Implemented the kitchen garden, KB pump installation, paddy and horticulture sapling plantation, beetle vine orchard revival, bio fertilizer application etc. with special emphasis on women
*Popularized the improved cropping practices in the tribal Blocks through Govt. programs.
*Involved in the planning, implementation and monitoring of oilseed development program in the KBK districts through farmers' cooperatives.
*Adopted the water efficient use practices through the water users' association by drip, sprinkler, cropping pattern change etc.
*Monitored successfully to support fisher folk by forming 400 groups and providing 400 boat and net to the groups to revive the livelihood.

Micro enterprise development and micro finance :
*SHGs formed during the super cyclone rehabilitation program implemented by CARE-Orissa I have tried to train and development micro enterprisers. SHGs were provided with fund to raise nursery and they did it successfully. SHGs were able to take care of goat, poultry and duck provided them and multiply and could get good income.
*Oilseed cooperatives have initiated fertilizer and pesticide provisioning to the farmers through our project support and were saving good income. Societies developed a good system of oilseed procurement and incurring good profit out of it
*Currently focus is on developing micro enterprises of small tea growers in Assam, West Bengal, Tamilnadu and Kerala and bamboo workers in Kerala. Working capital is being provided them besides training and marketing linkage to strengthen the societies to grow as successful micro enterprises.
