Brief Description :
The aim of this project is to improve the power factor of a system which resembles a general inductive load of the industry. Most industrial loads being inductive in nature the power factor of the entire system goes down; to improve the power factor we installed the capacitor and made the function automatically using a thermal relay.

Brief Description :
In this project, the main problems faced by the industries due to the damaged capacitors .have been studied and an innovative method for the detection of the faulty capacitor in a capacitor unit has been proposed .this method uses the microcontroller and connected circuit to indicate the faulty capacitors inside a bank . Using the voltage which will be passed through the detection circuit if the capacitor is faulty.
