Technology & Research programme in the field of Plastic Engg., is having 15 centres with state of art infrastructural facilities in the
areas of CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling & Mould Manufacturing, Plastics processing, Testing and Quality Control. CIPET offers a blend of
specialized Academic programmes in field of Plastics Engineering & Technology and provide technical support to Plastics & Allied
Industries. In line with HRD vision stated under National Policy on Petrochemicals , CIPET is upgrading its centres to High
Learning Centres to impart B.Tech, M.Tech & Ph.D. programmes with exclusive R& D hub – ARSTPS & LARPM.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS :
- Analyze the moulding process in systematic way to resolve the productivity issue in new project Radiance, this has helped to ramp-up our volume by the way of reducing cycle time.
- Worked closely with supplier to explore an “End cap” alternate design for our new project Radiance, this has given a direct savings of 60 lakhs.
- Worked closely with supplier to resolve a long pending quality issue of balance ring water leak, warpage issue in lid spin & paint peal off in Vari top frame.
- Supported marketing team for introducing new CFMs.
- Key member in execution of Mega Project Magnum, Radiance, Vari & Exports in budgeted cost, with targeted timeline and adherence to C2C process.
- Being an ECN coordinator, Implemented Cost & Quality projects in Plastic commodity.
- Received “Well done” award for completing a new projects on time.
- Received “Man of the Month” award for successful implementation of VARI project in stipulated timelines and at targeted cost.
- Developed over 80 moulds for RADIANCE 7.8kg and 60 moulds for mini RADIANCE 6.8kg.Also developed 20 moulds for VARI model.
- Worked with MOB and developed 75 moulds as the replacement.
