JOB PROFILE
- Checking of piping GA Drawing from P&ID Equipment & specification.
- Checking of Equipment layout from P&ID, Vendor data.
- Checking of piping specification class & Valve Datasheets & piping material selection.
- Preparation of piping isometric spool drawing & MTO.
- Design of pipe (thickness calculations) as per various codes (ASME 31.3 etc).
- Piping span calculations and selection of supports.
- Piping flexibility of analysis using code equations, guided cantilever method, Graphs Nomographs, M.W kellog charts & CAESAR II.
- Hydraulic Design of liquid piping system (pipe sizing, pressure drop calculation & pump head selection).
- Familiar with ASME B 31.3, IS codes & ASME codes related to Process & power piping.
- Review Radiography films of Welding joints.
- Doing non destructive test (UT, LPT, MPT) on repair joints and cutting pipe.
- Inspection of incoming material and Handling.
- Hydro testing of pipeline & station piping.
- Making As Built Drawing of pipeline alignment sheets, piping, river crossing, road crossing, railway crossing, Electrical & Instrumentation in AutoCAD & PDMS software.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generating documents such as General arrangement drawings, Equipment layout, and Nozzle orientation sheets for the different mechanical equipments, Piping Layouts, isometrics, special support sketches, etc.
- Reviewing of the pipeline routing, supporting structure by using AutoCAD.
- Calculating Bill of material from the P & ID.
- Controlling of All Activities like – Welder Qualification test, Electrode Qualification Test, ROW, Grading, Stringing, Trenching, Mainline Welding, Coating, lowering, Back filling, OFC Laying, Pipe book, & Hydro test of mainline.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
ASNT-TC-LEVEL-2 certified in NDT (RT, UT, LPT, MPT).
Diploma Course in Process Piping Engineering & Design, CAESAR-II, PDMS 11.6
VOCATIONAL TRAINING
45 days training at Suratgarh Thermal Power Station, Rajasthan.
45 days training in Design Software AutoCAD and PRO-E.
