A result oriented Post graduated Mechanical Engineer from India with 24 years of extensive experience in the product design and development, assembly and testing of high precision mechanical / fluid control components and control valves, working in the INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION ( ISRO).Responsible to design and carry out valve realization activities. This components and control valves form part of the various liquid propellants( including cryogenic and semi cryogenic) Rocket Engines and Stages. Posses experience in working with multiple diverse teams, ability to support and sustain a positive working environment that fosters team performance. Though my expertise is associated with the components and valves for the Aero space systems, I am confident that the experience gained over the two decades can be easily applied to any Industrial valves involved in the Oil and petro chemical units. I am 47 years old and prepared to work in any challenging environment.

ORGANISATIONAL EXPERIENCE
CURRENT JOB POSITION
Senior Valve Engineer : Liquid propulsion Engine components division of the Liquid propulsion system centre of ISRO.
Product design & development :
- Conceiving the state of art fluid components and valves from technical publications and initiating the technology development programme.
- Electro Mechanical actuated flow throttling valves for process control systems applications working closed loop and open loop.
- Pneumatically operating valves, solenoid valves ( on/off, proportional, latching type).
- Electro Pneumatic valves and command valves to operate larger pneumatic valves.
- Hydraulic dampers, self acting valves such as pressure regulators, pressure relief safety valves & check valves, metering valves.
- Electro Mechanical actuator drives.
- Pneumatic actuator, Electromagnetic actuator and Electro Mechanical actuator.
- Currently working in the design and development of high pressure( 400 to 500 bar operating pressures) and high flow components for the newly taken up semi cryogenic engine.

Component design and analysis :
- Generating the component design specification, selection of the materials and detailed design of the configuration, preparation of the components fabrication drawings, detailed design analysis of the same for the steady state and dynamic performances.
- Preparation of the technical reports regarding the component design , failure ( FMEA) analysis, presenting technical issues to expert review committees.
Component assembly and testing :
- Possess work experience in class 100 clean room, Executing the component assembly and test activities .
- Design and realization of the component assembly and test fixtures ,Installation of the hydraulic and pneumatic medium test bay/rigs for the testing of components, execution of the development and qualification tests including the environment tests such as Vibration, Shock, Thermal , Humidity and Life cycle tests etc.
- Preparing the product assembly procedure reports, Design verification and qualification test reports.
- Maintenance of the valve assembly and test data log book, suggesting the appropriate re work and repair methods to re use the valves.
- Assess the product malfunctioning and suggesting the best fit solutions to maximize the product life cycle, assess the test adequacy to verify the product acceptance.
- Purchasing the valve standard parts from the foreign sources, responsible for the lot qualification test and clearance.
- Responsible to maintain the components valve materials bonded stores.
Management :
- Responsible for the technical and commercial interaction with M/s Tech space Aero( SAFRAN Group), for the procurement of special types components. Visited the Space products division of the Techs space Aero unit at Belgium.
- Managing the components design and development team, providing guidance to the young engineers and technicians in the components design & analysis , assembly and testing etc.
- Project manager for the control components realization activities for the satellite application.
- Project manager for the component design & development , qualification and flight supply for the ISRO’s earmarked Reusable Vehicle project.
- Production Management : Flight proven fluid components are to be realized in continuous mode to use in the various satellites and launch vehicles . Responsible in material procurement from overseas sources, quality assessment, co-ordinates with manufacturing agencies and decision making on the re work / non conformance issues , assess the fitness of components for end use etc.
