Hydrogen Unit (KTI Technology): Major equipments involved: - Naphtha vaporizer, Hydrotreator (COMOX), Desulfuriser, Balanced draft Reformer, High temperature Shift Converter, Process gas and Flue gas waste heat recovery system with Steam drum, Exchangers, Cooling water coolers, Recycle gas compressor, High Speed Centrifugal pumps, Reciprocating Hydrogen Compressor, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Gas purification system by UOP technology to achieve 99.99% pure hydrogen. Vacuum Distillation Unit: Major equipments involved: - Vacuum Column, Reflux drum, Hogging ejector, Primary ejector, Secondary ejector, Hot well, Surface condenser, Vaporizer and coolers.

Activities carried out during Pre-commissioning: - Carrying out system checks with P&ID , Preparing punch list / clearance of punch list , Chemical cleaning / Flushing /Air blowing / Inertization of the system as per the commissioning plan, Instrumentation / control / ESD logics / Interlocks checking, Catalyst loading , System tightness test , Test run of rotating equipments , Combustion furnace refractory dry out , Alkali boil-out of steam drum and waste heat boiler.
