    STEEL STRUCTURE ENGINEERING MANAGER
    Scope :
    Experience in design/detailing of steel structures, with at least 3 years of recent exposure in leading a team of engineers/professionals in design or detailing. High level of proficiency in engineering design and project management software.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
    - Responsible for coordinating all of the company’s design efforts.
    - Supervises the activities of the employees engaged in ensuring that all components, parts and specifications of products comply with client requirements prior to production.
    - Ensures product specifications are within parameters of cost, functionality and reliability.
    - Where possible, shall drive design efforts in developing new products.
    - Monitors and controls the progress of engineering project to design, cost estimates, and quotations. Ensures accuracy, completion of schedules and commitments, and continuous follow-up.
    - Coordinates and works with management on the preparation and negotiation of contracts, quotes, and shop orders. Examines and evaluates inquiries for completion of accept or decline data.
    - Plans and schedules objectives to meet established goals, reviewing and establishing priorities to meet or exceed desired result.
    - Minimizes production delays and maximizes manpower utilization through consulting with customers in planning and organizing for new projects.
    - Represents the company and engineering function in inter-company conferences, technical forms, and external discussions groups.
