Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- ANA is looking for an in-house editor responsible for carrying out day to day editorial jobs such as research, editing, writing, formatting
- will be required to prepare features / opinions for the in-house journal “News behind the News” and
- write analytical pieces about issues relevant in India and South Asia
- prepare, research, edit newsletters
- research, upload content and maintain the website
- should have good knowledge about Indian national and regional politics, economy, foreign policy, security environment and understanding of major international issues
- will be required to conduct face to face interviews with foreign diplomats, ministers and other high profile opinion makers
- will be required to work for 6 days in a week, including weekends as the in-house publication is a weekly journal published every Sunday. One weekday will be offered as leave.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Post-graduates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in writing, editing, and other relevant work experience in the publishing industry or related fields
an accomplished on-screen English-language editor with the ability to multitask
cope well with managing high workloads, tight deadlines and working as part of a diverse team
well-versed in publishing software and have an aptitude and enthusiasm for learning new technologies
should be proactive and able to handle independent tasks
excellent presentation skills
location near Gurgaon is preferred. No office transport provided
