Cut section of domestic refrigerator, to know the basic components of the refrigerator, working principle and its maintenance.

2. Numerical simulation of Boundrylayer flow on a flat plat
Boundary Layers, also known as Shear Layers, are thin fluid layers adjacent to a solid wall or around another flowing fluid body, where the effect of the shear forces are most prominent. The presence of strong shear stress in a fluid layer is always demonstrated by large velocity gradients across the layer, which, in turn, are directly related to the shear stress level through the fluid viscosity for laminar flow and through the so-called eddy viscosity for turbulent flows. Shear layers are usually divided into two kinds – (i) Wall Shear Layers where the layer is adjacent to a solid body or a wall and (ii) Free Shear Layers where the layer is generated due to two adjacent fluid streams moving with different velocities. Within a shear layer the transport of mass, momentum or heat takes place through diffusion or convection( turbulent fluctuation) in lateral direction across the layer. Understanding the dynamics of shear layers is very important for the engineers since it determines many engineering quantities like skin-friction coefficient, drag forces, wall to fluid heat/mass transfer, often required in design of complex systems like aircrafts, space vehicles, missiles, ships or automobiles or even in working out the optimum sizing of simple ducts and manifolds for power and process plants. Engineering handbooks provide nomograms and data, based on experiments and empirical basis, which however are not adequate for any innovative design involving complex interactions of straight and curved shear layers subjected to turbulent fluctuations, adverse pressure gradients or other body forces like gravitation, centrifugal forces, surface tension etc..

3. Flow Analysis of Dual Fuel six Stroke Diesel Engine
The working of six stroke engine is similar to that of four stroke engine, initial three strokes and exhaust stroke is similar to the four stroke engine. After the third stroke extra two intermediate strokes are added for greater fuel efficiency and also for utilizing the unwanted heat. The engine is initially modeled, assembled by using mechanical connections and animated by using Kinematics with the help of CADD tool PRO-E. The engine is imported to the CFD tool STAR CD and flow analysis is carried out to know the pressure and velocity of the mixture inside the cylinder at the end of each stroke, power available at the crankshaft is also known.

MCAD PROJECT : DESIGN OF SELF CLEANING CAT EYE (DONE FOR HYDERABAD TRAFFIC POLICE)
A Self Cleaning Cat Eye prototype which uses renewable resource has been designed using ProE. Each and every part has been designed on the concept of Recycling materials.
We took a challenge of making the maximum parts of the product out of some renewable sources which are created from the wastes like beer tins and Bristles of the tooth brush other bauxite alloys. The product has been designed in such a way that it uses renewable energy (air). And increases the life of the cat eye.
MAJOR PROJECT : AUTOMATION OF WELDING SYSTEM
The project is about the design of a welding system which can be operated by a remote or a joy stick. Which is helpful in preventing the hazards which would occur while normal welding process.
The welding arm will be controlled by the motors which are attached with the gears. The gears had been chosen in such way that the moment of the welding arm horizontally and vertically will be equal length of the electrode reduced as the welding goes on with respect to the length of the welding being done.
The project was totally based upon the making the machine mechanisms as simple as possible and also to reduce the cost of the product. There were a lot of problems and challenging things faced in the selection of gears for the moment of the arm and finding out the reducing length of the welding electrode per unit length.

MINI PROJECT : STUDY OF MANUFACTUING OF T.M.T BARS
The project is about the manufacturing of T.M.T (thermo mechanically treated) bars. In which the final product is evolved after the execution of the three processes casting, rerolling and thermo mechanical treatment.
In the first process the steel and all the other alloys are being heated to the molten state and are molded in the casting the process. This evolves the ingots which is the raw material for the process of rerolling. And from one piece of ingot which weighs about a 12 tons we can extract 46 T.M.T bars.
In the second process the ingots red heated in the oven and allowed to pass through the rollers where the ingots are compressed along the height and the width alternatively where the length of the rod got on increasing as the height and the width are reduced. The area or width of the bar goes on changing its shape from rectangle to oval and from the oval shape to the final circle shape.
After the final pass of the T.M.T bar through the rollers the red heated T.M.T bars are suddenly cooled by passing them through the water at certain pressure which is called as thermo mechanical treatment. In this process the granular structure of the material changes and becomes stiffer and increases in its properties. And hence the product is after as thermo mechanically treated bars.
