Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens defined in Articles 5 to 9 of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated against each and carrying usual allowances as admissible under rules of the Govt. of Assam.

The candidates should be within the age range (based on Matric/HSLC/HSSLC Certificates) as indicated against each post.

Application forms are obtainable from Deputy Secretary, Assam Public Service Commission, Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 on requisition stating clearly the name of post and Department accompanied by a self addressed unstamped envelope of 23x10 cms and will be supplied up to 4.00 PM during the office hours except Sunday and holidays.

The last date of issue of application form by the undersigned and submission of application form duly filled up to the Commission’s office is fixed on 08.02.2010.

Assistant Surgeon/ Extension Officer (Veterinary.) : 43 posts,
Pay Scale : Rs.4390/ to Rs.11425/ -,
Age : 21-38 years as on 01/01/2010.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
A candidate must have at least a Degree in Animal Husbandry & Vety. Science/Dairy Science from a recognized university/Institution

Junior Teacher in Medical Institute, Jorhat : 13 posts,
Pay Scale : 8000/ to Rs.13500/- PM + 2(two) advance increments
Age : Age : 21-38 years as on 01/01/2010.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
MBBS Degree from a recognized university and registered under Assam Medical Council/Medical Council of India.

Last date of receipt of application in the prescribed format is 08/02/2010 .
