Project Description:
“Analysis of Air-Fuel mixture flow in Carburetor”
This project aims at developing the practical model of carburetor used in petrol engines and to observe the flow characteristics of the air-fuel mixture within the carburetor for various opening of throttle angles. It is predicted that reverse flow increases as the throttle opening increases which results in unsteady flow at exit. The velocity of fuel directly increases the effectiveness with which the mixture forms.

Conducted lots of experiments and collected the data at respective time interval for proper graph plotation to find the point where we get minimum fluidization in cold condition. By using this data we are confined to find out the minimum fluidizing velocity of air to be fixed(as we cannot change in hot condition) when working in hot condition after inducing the temperature of at-least 900degree Celsius. Reproducibility of results were thoroughly checked and successful results were obtained.
