Job Description:
Role:
To design, testing and validation of Communication networks. (CAN, LIN, K-Line, UART etc.)

Responsibilities:
Concept /Design, development of communication networks (Preparation of specifications including CAN topology, communication matrix)
Testing and validation of communication networks
Implementation of Diagnostics and OBD in controllers

Competency Requirements
Technical/ Functional:
Good knowledge on CAN communication protocols - CAN, LIN, UART (In Vehicle Networking)
Executed at least one complete cycle of communication networks development and testing / validation on vehicle and bench.
Knowledge of standards ISO 15675, 14230, 11898
Experienced user of CANoe, CANalyzer, Da Vinci, CAPL programming
Desired but not essential:
Design and development experience in Body controllers such as BCM, Security controllers, Door lock controllers.
Experience in FlexRay and MOST

Behavioral
Lead and manage small to mid size teams
Build the team capability and identify new areas of work
To be able to build the technical roadmap for team and department
Co-ordinate department activities and represent department / MSIL in forums.

Specific expertise required for functional area :
Minimum 4-years of hands on experience in design/ development of In Vehicle Networking.
