Role – Worked as a finance Executive from May ’07 – Nov ’07.
2. Organization- “JP Morgan & CHASE” – Investment Bank- Bangalore.
Role – Working as a fund Accountant in respective for validation of net asset value (NAV) for a period of 1 year which is divided into 3 categories
- Trade Capture : It is the 1ST stage where we capture the trades on emails sent by different advisors in the form of excel files and PDF. For instance out team used to provide service to client AXA. The broker’s trade on behalf of AXA and the trade details are sent to us via mail for accounting purpose.
- Trade processing : In the 2nd stage we reconcile the trades sent by the advisors with the p & L A/C and book the trades. At the time of accounting some trades swift in automatically and the trades which are swifted in are booked by us. All the mails sent contains the trades made by the brokers which must reflect in the p & L account for the true and exact NAV calculation.
- Trade validation : In the final stage we check whether the prices of all the trades are within the given tolerance level with the market price. If yes, the pricing team confirms it and the NAV is calculated. If no, we approach the advisor for the same as to why the price is not within the tolerance level with the market price and accordingly they take action and then come back to us.( tolerance level being 6% of the market price).
ACHEIVEMENTS :
- Won 1st place in “Table tennis” and 2nd place in “badminton” tournament conducted by Karnataka University.
- Was nominated for the” best sports person” in the college for the year 2010.
- Handled 5 different clients within 1 year in JP Morgan.
