HSBC is leading Banking and Credit Card provider.FTP is an acronym that stands for ‘Finance Transformation Platform. Global project involving approximately 400 resources located in Buffalo, Chicago, New York, Londan, Hong Kong, Pune and other locations.
FTP consists of 9 different Applications. TWS Scheduler is used for monitoring the jobs in different regions like LO (Latin America), N0 (North America), M0 (Middle East), E0 (Europe) and G0 (Gold Code).
FTP is a multi-component integrated system that provides Financial Control with a common data repository for regulatory & management reporting.
FINPRO- FinPro is the Finance part of FTP.

- Read all the 100s of mails which are from component teams and regional Testing Teams as well.
- Understanding what code drop promotion is going and which testing cycle is running in the testing environment. what development is doing the component teams and all.
- Forwarding the mails to the corresponding component teams which contains JCL errors or abends.
- Give the follow up to the component teams regarding the same and After getting the response for the same again forward that replied mails to the regional team.
- Creating the JCLs and Procs while during the version changes taking (Gold Code) New Seed Files Inventory List as input. .
- Collecting the New Seed Files Inventory List & Delete Files from all the component teams.
- Merge all the New Seed Files List & Delete Files and naming that with a proper naming convention.
- Code the TWS Scripts for the New Add jobs, Delete jobs and Add dependencies.
- Cross checking the Job Flow diagrams against the TWS Scripts application wise in an environment in the TWS of JCL Variable tables in the Database.
- Raise the concerns while during the verification if they are there and send a mail to my TL/Cordinator with those details of concerns.
- Attending to the Status meetings of Offshore Pune and Hyderabad teams.
- Giving the KT Sessions for the new joiners as per the Induction Plan.
- Attending to the Status meetings with Onshore and Offshore teams as well.
- Booking the meeting rooms for Onshore and Offshore team meetings and make sure that the meeting rooms are available.

- Involved in coding of Batch programs, BMS Macros based on IDRs and EDRs.
- Preparing Unit Test Cases for the BATCH Jobs.
