Job Description:
1. Prepare cost estimates. Review cost estimate for design options. Monitor cost implications during design development. Prepare BOQ, Manage costs, assess all variations & extra works, Analysis and report on any contractual claims.
2. Quantity surveying to survey the cost and progress of the project .
3. Coordination with civil and M&E contractor / consultants / architects for preparation of drawing with specified time frame ,conduct preliminary study , suggest modifications in drawings & project civil related detailed engineering.
4. Mobilization of resources & follow up with subcontractors / specialized agencies & vendors , etc.
5. Preparation of construction programme including periodical monitoring and reporting .
6. Responsible for material submittals / material approvals & raising procurement requests & checking of contractor's bills.
7. Ensure that quality aspects & safety practices are adopted at site.
8. Maintain quality standards for incoming raw material / components / spares being purchased , ensuring stringent adherence to quality standards , norms & practices

Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Minimum First Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
2. Experience of executing Civil & Structural of Multi Storied Building and Familiarities with Mechanical , Electrical & Plumbing will be an added advantage
3. Minimum 3 yrs of experience with reputed construction company, having experience in quantity surveying with ability to survey, estimate and cost the project progress. Assist in the financial control and management of the contract.
4. Candidate should have good experience in site management of construction projects, planning, monitoring, managing cash-flows, preparing periodic reports, ensuring men, material & equipments at site, quality control and delivering as per schedules.
5. Good understanding of Contractual conditions of project. Knowledge of FIDIC form of contract will be added advantage.
6. Fluency in MS Office & AutoCAD . Knowledge of MS Project & Primavera will be added advantage
