Location - Bangalore and Delhi, India
Reporting to - Senior Manager – Project Implementation
Department - Customer Services and Support

Responsibilities
* Installation of SUN/Intel hardware
* Solaris/Linux installation and configuration
* Deployment/configuration/testing of Telecom equipment, preferably VAS elements such as SMSC, MMSC, WAP gateways etc. Familiarity with GSM networks would be a plus.
* Ensure implementation and integration activities are carried out as per SOP / MoP
* Conduct ATP and ensure the documents are signed by Customer.
* Ensure all site specific documentation with respect to all products are generated and copy updated onto the CVS.
* Ensure cleanliness for site and proper labeling
* Ensure effective use of Project tracking system for individual performance and improvement of productivity
* Conduct Customer training on product features and ensure product O&M activities are handed over to customer team
* Assist development team for debugging and collection of logs
* Conduct site training for new engineers
* Maintain good will and cordial relationship with customer

Key Requirements for Success
* Minimum Engineering Graduate
* Min 3 years of Experience
* Hands on experience in installation of Telecom products
* Good communication skills and relationship management
* Excellent knowledge Unix / Scripting / TCP /IP
* Excellent knowledge of Telecom Networks and protocols (GSM, MAP, TCAP, SCCP, CDMA, GPRS, as defined by 3GPP / 3GPP2

PROJECT 1 : AUTOMATIC VEHICLE SPEED LIMIT USING RFID.
Status : Finished.
Description : Prevents accidents in restricted roadways. A transmitter module is fitted in all high-speed restricted areas and microcontroller is programmed to transmit the RF signal through the RF signal transmitter module. The receiver module is fitted in all automobiles to receive data. The microcontroller in receiver controls the vehicle speed by means of data received from transmitter recorded with data of speed restricted areas.
PROJECT 1 : A ZIGBEE BASED AUTOMATIC ENERGY METER READING.

Status : Finished.
Description : Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) is an electronics system that provides functionalities
of remote meter reading of usage rate of electricity, gas, water and generates billing to charge customers . according to supplied amounts for energy suppliers.
