Position : Interior Designer
Experience : 3-5 years

Education : B. Arch, Diploma in Design

Job Description :
o Acquiring key information about potential projects, discussing requirements in detail with clients and setting project schedules;
o Understanding individual clients' needs, developing design concepts in consultation with the client and establishing final briefs;
o Considering materials and costs according to set budgets and negotiating project fees;
o Conducting feasibility studies for projects;
o Researching and gathering information and photographs relating to the project ;
o Producing 'sample' or 'mood' boards for presentation to clients;
o Sourcing products and providing samples for clients;
o Preparing detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software;
o Surveying buildings;
o Working in a team with other designers;
o Supervising work at the design stage and on-site;
o Working closely with quantity surveyors to establish costs and work schedules on larger projects, with architects to determine the best use of space, and with manufacturers and contractors;
o Identifying new business and selling services to potential clients;
o Keeping up to date with new developments in the design industry.

Work Experience :
o 3-5 years in an Interior or Architectural practice.
o Should have handled multiple projects.
o Worked on multiple types of projects such as residential, commercial, hospitality, etc.
o Worked with Architects, Engineering consultants and contractors.

Soft Skills :
o Fast learner
o Documentation of all key milestones, meetings and project progress
o Good command over English language
o Readily shoulder responsibilities

Technical Skills :
