NBPPL Need Engineering, HR & Finance Professionals on Fixed Tenure Basis
NBPPL, a Joint Venture company of NTPC Ltd. & BHEL, needs Engineering graduates in the discipline of Civil (2 posts), Mechanical (2 posts), Electrical /C&I/Electronics (2 posts ) as well as professionals in the field of HR (1 post) and Finance(1 post) on purely Fixed Tenure Basis (FTA) for a period of two years for its Corporate Office. However the candidates may be posted at any other site / office of NBPPL depending upon the requirement. The numbers of vacancies indicated above is tentative and
the actual requirements may vary based on further assessment. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals who fulfil the following criteria.
Qualification:
1) B.Tech / B.E. in relevant discipline with at least 60 % marks in aggregate from an institution recognised by AICTE (55% marks for SC/ST candidates) for engineering.
2) Masters in Business Administration (discipline HR)/ PGD in HR or equivalent qualification with at least 60 % marks in aggregate from an institution recognised by AICTE (55% marks for SC/ST candidates) for HR professional.
3) CA / ICWA ( should have cleared final examination) .
Experience: For all above positions, the candidate should have minimum one year work experience in relevant discipline.
Upper age Limit: 33 years (as on 14/12/2009), relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC/PH & Ex-Serviceman candidates as per governed guidelines.
Remuneration: First year - Rs 20,750/- p.m. *
Second year - Rs 22,200/- p.m.*
*Other allowances as applicable to the place of posting.
Reservation: Reservation of number of posts for SC/ST/OBC and Physical Challenged candidates will be as per the Government Directives.
Mode of Selection: Written test and / or interview
Processing Fee: A demand draft of Rs 200/- in favour of NBPPL payable at New Delhi. No application fee is to be paid by SC/ST/OBC ( Non Creamy layer) and Physical Challenged candidates. Candidates are advised to write their Name & Date of Birth on back side of Demand Draft
Note: The job offered is purely on Fixed Tenure Basis for a period of two years. This post is not against any permanent vacancy. This placement will not ensure any regular/permanent employment in NBPPL in future.
General Instruction:
1. Mere conformity to the requirement will not entitle for calling for interview. NBBPL reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge the recruitment process, if the need so arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason therefor.
2. No correspondence will be entertained with the candidates not selected for interview and/or tenure appointment. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
3. Incomplete application or other than the one prescribed in this advertisement will not be entertained.
4. Candidates should enclose attested copies of their educational qualification/experience certificates and caste certificate in case they belong to SC, ST and OBC (Non- Creamy Layer) category along with the application form.
5. The candidates presently employed in Central state Government/PSUs will be required to submit “NO objection Certificate” at the time of interview from their employer.
6. Application not accompanied with requisite demand draft will not be entertained.
7. Candidates are advised to maintain a valid e-mail ID, in which is to be mentioned in the Application Form. They are also advised to retain this e-mail ID active for at least next three months as any important intimation to the candidates shall be provided by NBPPL through email.
8. Candidates will be individually informed about the interview through email and onward journey expenses will be reimbursed.
9. The recruitment process can be cancelled / suspended/terminated without assigning any reasons. The decision of the management will be final and no appeal will be entertained.
10. Candidates will be subjected to medical examination by the company’s appointed doctor prior to their appointment after due selection.
11. The candidates shortlisted for interviews shall be required to produce following documents (not to be sent along with application form) for verification at the time of interview.
a). Tenth Class (High School) Certificate as Date of Birth,
b) Certificates & Mark Sheets of relevant educational qualification
c) SC/ST Certificate (if applicable),
d) Latest Physically challenged certificate (if applicable)
e) Ex-Serviceman certificate (if Applicable),
6)OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate,
f) Experience Certificate,
How to Apply:
· Interested candidates shall submit the scanned copy of resume along with scanned copy of DD at fta@nbppl.in in line with attached performa. DD along with the resume should be sent through e-mail in a sealed envelope addressed to DY. MANAGER (HR) to reach latest by
21/01/2010. The envelop should be superscribed “Application for the post of FTA against Advertisement No. FTA/Project_Site/2009/02 dated 29/12/2009.”

I'm pursuing my B-Tech final year in Electronic and Communication stream,i would request you to kindly furnish me with further details as to how i can apply and what is the cut-off percentage to apply.

Dear Sir,
This is RAVI SINGH completed B.Tech in 2008 with(61.18%) first class.
Work as trainee electrical engg. in Pvt. Company for two year and now working as GRAPESOFT(TERA SOFT)EA TECH SUPPORT (UIDAI) but unable to find great salary job as well as no government institute to trained myself.
Please suggested me, how to improve my future growth.
