Professional Experience
Working as a piping design Engineer on various projects as listed below, the activities involved are :–

- Generating documents such as General arrangement drawings, Equipment layout, Nozzle orientation sheets for the different mechanical equipments.
- Preparation of Piping Layouts, isometrics, special support sketches, etc.

- Acting as a Checker for the technical deliverables for a project. Ultimately being responsible for smooth & timely executing the project .
- Preparation of wall thickness calculations, pipe size, pressure loss calculations and branch connection, reinforcement calculations.
- Pump head calculations to Piping Design codes as per various codes.
- Reviewing of the pipe line routing, supporting and civil structure by using AutoCAD.
- Capable of producing specifications for Piping materials, Manual Valves & Special Piping items.
- Experience in producing Piping Standard Details for the Piping Layout group.
- Calculating BOMs & MTOs from the P & ID.
- Generating line list, critical line list for stress analysis from the P & IDs.
- Coordinating with Instrumental and Electrical departments for finalizing cable tray layouts.
- Coordinating with Mechanical department for the freezing of nozzle orientation, vessel clip orientation for pipe supports, platforms and ladders on tanks ,vessels etc before releasing a drawing for fabrication.
- Well acquainted with the different international codes and standards used in the process industries like ASME, ANSI, and API etc.
