Description : -
Type of Air-Receiver selected is horizontal, cylindrical with dished ends and stationary vessel. Design of Air-Receiver is based on ASME section VIII-division I, edition 2007. Capacity of Air-Receiver is 2 m3 (2000 liters) nominal volume.
It is a pressure vessel used to handle compressed air. Its position in the plant is after compressor and before turbine to store high-pressurized fluid to avoid impact on turbine and to supply compressed air regularly.
