DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Witnessing of Safety Valve overhauling & testing at client shop.
- Inspection of all static equipments per the code & standards i.e. Cato fin Reactors, Regeneration Charge Heater, Regeneration Air Heater, Waste Heat Boiler, Utility Boiler, Vessels, Columns, Dryers, Polymerized Reactors, Cyclone, Educator, Bins, Filters, Hoppers, Silos, Tanks, Cooling Tower, Expansion Joints etc.
- Daily monitoring the critical equipment temperature profile.
- Categories the piping as per standard procedure for piping and equipment like class I, class II & class III.
- Categories the safety valves (Class I, II & III) according service of the pipe.
- Prepared standard procedures and forms of all static equipment as per ISO standard.
- Prepared the inspection interval of all static equipment.
- Witnessing the NDT techniques and welder qualification & record.
- Thickness measurement of the insulated & non-insulated pipe lines & equipments as per API 570.
- Prepared the Critical Asset Monitoring Plan.

Projects Handled in August 2009.
- Replacement of the male & liners of the hydrocarbon inlet line 42” & 48” expansion joints 21 nos. due to coke formation inside the convolution area.
- Replacement of the liners of the Cato fin Reactor Air outlet nozzle due to liner damaged & found high skin temperature.
TAM 2010 March
- Replace the 21 nos. expansion joints of HC inlet line with new design to avoid coke formation in March 2010.
- Cleaned the cokes from the convolution area of HC outlet header 22 nos. expansion joints male & liner cutting & after cleaning the convolution area it is to be re-weld.
- Internal and external inspection was done on Cato fin Reactors, Charge heater, Air heater, Waste heat boiler, Reactors, Vessels, Columns, Cooling tower, GRP sea water piping & equipment, Exchangers cleaning, Refractory inspection etc.
- Followed up the Turnaround Activities in March 2010 and satisfactory completed.
- Preparation started for TAM 2012 is in progress.
