Job Description:

Designing and detail engineering of Protection system in Substations/Power plants having HV/MV/LV system which includes, Transformer/Reactor, HV Cables, Bus-bar, and other equipment with new generation Microprocessor based Numerical relays by various manufacturer viz., Areva/ABB/Siemens.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Candidate shall have high competency and skill -set in:

- Selecting/employing specific protection relays according to its application

- Optimal sizing & Selection of the primary components of protection system (CTs& VTs)

- Preparation of Detailed schematics for the main protection system application for Relay panel / Bus bar protection panel etc., & for other interfacings vis - a - vis Digital Fault recorder/SCS/SCADA System

- Setting Calculations /programming the protective relays

- Modification in the existing Protection system at client/customer’s end

- Clear procedures and the process of submission and obtaining approvals for deliverables

- To lead an exclusive “ In-House team “ of Engineers to meet our customer’s requirement/Project schedule in time

- High level technical discussion with Client& Consultant/manufacturer/In-House Team

- Problem solving/ providing multi -choice solution
