General Instructions
1. All posts bear All India transfer liability.

3. Crucial date for determining age limit will be 01.01.2008.
4. Relaxation in age as per NIOS Recruitment Rules/norms for this advertisement only.
5. NIOS reserves the right to fix criteria for calling the required number of candidates, as may be necessary, for test / interview.
6. Candidates desirous of applying for more than one post must apply separately.
7. Candidates already working in Government service and fulfilling requirement of experience and eligibility are required to submit application through proper channel in the prescribed format.
8. NIOS reserves the right to fill or not to fill any of the posts mentioned above without assigning any reason(s).
9. Those candidates who had applied against certain positions advertised by NIOS earlier may apply afresh.
10. Incomplete application and not on the prescribed proforma will be summarily rejected.
11. Application Form be submitted alongwith a Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) for Unreserved category and Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for SC/ST and OBC categories in favour of Secretary, National Institute of Open Schooling, Noida. However, Physically Handicapped category with minimum of 40% of disability are exempted from payment. The amount shall be accepted in the shape of Bank Draft only and once paid shall NOT be refunded under any circumstances. On the back side of Demand Draft, the candidates are advised to write their name, address and post applied for in capital letters.
12. Application Form can be obtained from NIOS website www.nios.ac.in giving complete details. The form duly filled, signed, attached with demand draft and attested copies of certificates may be sent with superscribing the post applied for on the envelope, to the Secretary, National Institute of Open Schooling, A-24/25, Institutional Area, Sector-62, Noida - 201309, U.P. No applications will be accepted through e-mail. The last date for receiving applications is 01.02.2010 (In case of candidates from North Eastern States/ Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti Dists. of Himachal Pradesh, Andman & Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep, the last date for receipt of applications will be 08.02.2010).
