RECRUITMENT OF ARCHITECT- Advt No. C09/2009
IRCON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED is a premier schedule “A” infrastructure Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Railways engaged in the construction of turnkey infrastructure projects in Railways, Highways, Buildings, Power sectors, etc. The Company has recorded a turnover of more than Rs. 2787 crores in the year 2008-09. The company has successfully completed large value Railway Projects in India and abroad including Malaysia, Bangladesh, Algeria, Iraq, Syria, etc.
The company invites applications for the post of Architect on contract basis for 2 years at fixed all inclusive salary for its wholly owned subsidiary in India.
Age as on 01-10-2009: Not more than 30 years.
Medical Standards: Candidates should be in sound health. No relaxation in health standards will be allowed.
Selection Process: Through walk-in interviews as per schedule given at para C-iii below.
A The above post is not a regular post in the establishment of IRCON’s wholly owned subsidiary but on contractual basis. The appointment will be initially for two years, extendable further till completion of the project if the services of the candidates are found to be satisfactory. However, the appointment is co-terminus with the project and will not confer any right to claim absorption in regular establishment of the company or for appointment in other projects of the company.
B-1 There are no allowances over and above the fixed pay.
B-2 Reimbursement for indoor treatment for self at the place of posting only would be permissible.
B-3 Minimum PF as prescribed under the EPF & MP Act 1952 will be deducted from the salary and a matching contribution will be made by the company. The accumulations will be paid at the time of cessation of contract.
B-4 15 days earned leave would be admissible on completion of every 6 months service which can be accumulated and encashed at the time of cessation of contract. No other type of leave would be admissible.
B-5 One weekly off and other public holidays when the project office remains closed would be available.
B-6 TA/DA would also be admissible if deputed on outstation duty.
B-7 No other perks or benefits would be admissible except the above.
C How to apply:
i)Application typed on A-4 size paper in the format given below should be sent to Addl. General Manager/ HRM, IRCON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, C-4, District Centre Saket, New Delhi – 110 017 accompanied with the self attested photocopies of the following documents :
a)Matriculation Certificate (for age proof)
b)Certificate of professional Degree i.e. BE Architect.
c)Certificates of other professional qualifications, if any
d)Certificates in proof of experience clearly indicating the length and line of experience as per eligibility conditions
ii)Applications not accompanied by Experience certificate or vague experience certificates will not be entertained.
iii)Applicants who consider themselves as eligible should straightway report for an interview as per the following schedule. No interview call letters will be issued as this is a walk-in-interview.

Only such applicants will be interviewed who are eligible as per the eligibility criteria. Applicants are, therefore, advised to check their eligibility thoroughly while applying so as to avoid disappointment at a later stage. The applicants must bring the original certificates in proof of age, community, educational qualifications and experience while coming for the interview failing which the interview of the candidate will not be held.
iv)Incomplete or vague applications will be rejected summarily. Applications not in the prescribed format will also not be entertained.
v)Applicants working in Govt./PSUs may note that this is a short duration contract post and even for these posts they have to produce NOC at the time of interview and resign from their parent organisation on their selection.
