Key Deliverables
Production Operations :
- Leading a team and attaining the monthly production targets for Bearing line by assigning targets and tracking progress against targets by analyzing daily reports.
- Monitoring the production status, procedures and systems followed in production to ensure compliance norms with desired quality and timely delivery of orders.
- Coordinating with the other departments for smooth functioning and accomplishing production as per customers’ requirement.
Quality Management Systems :
- Ensuring adherence to the quality standards as per ISO and overseeing implementation of various stages of workflow using quality tools.
- Implementing Kaizens and other quality tools on shop floor.
- Maintaining quality level as per targets given by the customers and targets given in the business plan.
Value Engineering / Cost Reduction :
- Analyzing various processes / applications and recommending process modifications and equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identifying capacity limitations & bottlenecks and process problems, plant upsets reasons for production shortfall for taking corrective action.
- Undertaking root cause analysis of problems and developing effective counter measures initiating Kaizen/ Improvement Ideas generation & implementation.
- Driving efforts for reducing mfg. cost, rejection cost as well as tracking daily consumables & planning to reduce it.
Installation & Commissioning :
- Handling installation and commissioning of equipment, machinery’s and systems etc, as well as handling facilities for completion of projects in stipulated time/cost parameters.
- Undertaking up gradation, renovation and modification of the existing machinery, equipment and manufacturing facilities.
- Reviewing plant layout, making drawing, approving them and carrying out inspection tests for determining the effectiveness of the equipments/ plants.
