Engagement of Retired Bank Executives for Faculty Positions

at Staff College, Chennai On Contract Basis

Applications are invited from Retired Bank Executives for 5 Nos of Faculty positions on Contract Basis for our Staff College, Chennai in the following fields of banking.

a)CREDIT
b)FOREIGN EXCHANGE
c)RISK MANAGEMENT
d)BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE, LEADERSHIP & MOTIVATION.

Retired Bank executives of Nationalised Bank/State Bank Of India or its Subsidiary at the level of General Manager/Deputy General Manager/ Assistant General Manager who confirm to the following eligibility standards may forward their application to The General Manager, Personnel Administration Department, INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK, CENTRAL OFFICE, 763, ANNA SALAI, CHENNAI-600002

Ø Age not exceeding 65 years (as on 1st January 2009)
Ø Should be Graduate with experience in banking in the relevant field.
Ø Other specialized qualifications such as CA, MBA, ICWA, ACS, CAIIB etc would be an added advantage.
Ø Should have been an Executive of any Nationalized bank/State Bank of India or its Subsidiary at the level of GM/DGM/AGM.
Ø Should have been handling the subject for a minimum period of 5 years during their tenure in the bank, except for Risk Management where the minimum period of experience shall be relaxed.
Ø Should have flair for teaching and sharing knowledge and should have the ability to motivate.
Ø Tenure as Faculty would be treated as an added advantage.
Ø Remuneration: -Consolidated pay of Rs.25000/per month.
Ø Contractual tenure of 1 year with provision to renew for a further period of one year depending on their performance.
Ø Provision for termination of the contract by giving notice of 3 months from either side.
