Desired Profile

1.The Server Engineer will have to provide day-to-day technical support and administration of the technology infrastructure. 2. The primary responsibilities of Server engineer will be Install, confi gure, and troubleshoot Server systems. 3. Provide first tier response, analysis and resolution planning for detected issues and seeks appropriate resolution of issues. 4. Play a key role in system uptime and disaster recovery initiatives. 5. Problem management and issue resolution for server, desktop and laptop issues. 6. Conducting timely and effective root cause analysis. 7. Provisioning, installation, oversight, administration and daily maintenance of all cross-platform servers to include; Intranet/Internet web servers, Database servers, monitoring servers, proprietary application servers, file and print servers etc and others to maximize availability and address issues related to. 8. Disaster Recovery / High Availability 9. Physical and Logical Security 10. Backup / Integrity and recoverability 11. Patch and security configuration compliance (includes virus detection for server and client) 12. General user administration 13. Active Directory maintenance 14.First level issue triage and manage escalation 15. Resolve user configuration / authentication issues 16. Escalating the calls to vendor/principal/TSG whenever reqd, 17. Analyze reports & recommend changes to process/technology where ever reqd, 18. Knowledge sharing to Shift Incharge/L2 /L1engrs. 19.Pro-actively provide suggestions for the optimization of the Infrastructure
