Scope of the Project :
The project aims is to locate vehicle fleet in an effective and intelligent manner.
Description :
The project is based on GSM and GPS using - C/OS-II RTOS. In order to interface the GSM mobile & GPS module we have used the embedded Microcontroller ARM7 LPC2148 in our project. The wireless technologies used are GSM and GPS. Instead of using GSM module, a GSM mobile has been used in this project which has resulted in drastic reduction of the project cost. GPS is used to find the exact location of the vehicle and GSM is used to send that location.
Role & Responsibility :
By using the received values such as latitude and longitude, the location of the specific vehicle is identified using web services.
