TCR Institute for Materials Technology is committed to train with knowledge gained over the past 33 years in the metal industry. Our curriculum is formalized to provide custom training programs, best practices and leading knowledge in material testing. The training facility is equipped with latest technologies. All courses are designed to impart practical knowledge that can be applied immediately to the outside world. These courses will provide engineers and technicians with the capability to improve their testing techniques, learn how to perform advanced tests, and help assure how to meet standards. From novice to an expert, courses are designed to learn more in the field of material sciences. Courses can be personalized based on the needs of our clients.

Candidates will receive training from experienced metallurgists, engineers and laboratory technicians. Our instructors have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in the industry. Each one of them is ASNT Level III certified. TCR trainers have field experience in the areas of Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Chemical Processing, Defense, Nuclear Power, Scrap and Capital Goods manufacturing.

Candidates should pay all fees in advance of 2 weeks before beginning of the course. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Failure to show up for the course will result in forfeiture of the fees for that examination or course. If an examination application is received and the applicant is found to be unqualified to take the examination, a refund will be issued less an administrative fee of Rs.500 per applicant.

No refunds will be made for applicants who require certification once again. All requests for transfers or cancellations must be submitted in writing to TCR Institute for Materials Technology and be signed by the person registered for the examination or course. A signed fax transmittal is acceptable.

Exams:
The examination will be in accordance with ASNT Std. SNT-TC-1A by ASNT Level III Professional.

Candidates are encouraged to bring an electronic calculator. Programmable calculators are permitted as long as it does not have an alphanumeric keyboard. No other books, paper, or charts will be allowed.

Candidates are permitted to use a translation dictionary. No electronic dictionaries will be allowed.

Candidates should plan to arrive at the examination site at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled examinations. No one will be admitted after an examination has started.

Candidates will receive results immediately after the exam at the end of the training. For certification related training courses, candidates will receive their certificates 1-2 week after the exam. Candidates who fail to achieve a passing score will require appearing for the exam again.

Note:
This course is a non-residential program. Participants are required to arrange for lodging, transportation and meals.
